The support of the community has helped me get to where I am. I want to collaborate with the community and the commissioner board, sheriff, and county officials to give back.
Like you, I have overcome adversity. For me, the path forward was through self-management and teamwork. My journey starting the Lupus Research Foundation began with a diagnosis of lupus. Drawing from those challenges and how I got through them helps me lead with an open mind and determination. The way I see it, working together means always finding the path forward.
